Perth Lunch brings the industry together

The APGA Perth Lunch once again showed the strength of the pipeline community in Western Australia, bringing members and industry colleagues together for an afternoon of valuable conversation, new connections and plenty of good company.

Perth has a uniquely connected industry community, and that was certainly on display throughout the event. The relaxed setting gave attendees the opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people and continue the conversations that help strengthen relationships across the sector.

We were delighted to welcome Peter Metcalfe, Vice President Climate, Sustainability and Energy Policy at Woodside Energy, as our keynote speaker and guest of honour.

Peter shared his perspective on the current state of the gas industry, its role in Western Australia and the opportunities and challenges ahead as the energy sector continues to evolve. We thank Peter for taking the time to join us and for sharing his insights with the APGA community.

The lunch also provided an opportunity to welcome members of the APGA Board, who had spent the morning together in a Board session before joining members at the lunch. Their presence was warmly welcomed and added another dimension to the conversations taking place throughout the afternoon.

A sincere thank you also goes to our event sponsors, Team Furmanite and GPA Engineering. Their support plays an important role in making the APGA Lunch Series possible and in creating opportunities for the industry to come together, connect and exchange ideas.

We would also like to acknowledge everyone involved in facilitating and supporting the event, as well as all those who attended and contributed to such an enjoyable afternoon.

The APGA Lunch Series is designed to create relaxed, conversation-focused opportunities for members to stay connected with the broader industry, and Perth once again delivered exactly that.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to seeing the Western Australian pipeline community again soon.
