Competency descriptor
This competency requires a pipeline engineer to have background knowledge and understanding of commercial matters as they apply to the phases of the life of a pipeline, concept proposal, FEED, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations.
Competency application
This competency will enable a pipeline engineer to take into account the commercial implications of design, construction and operational decisions across the range of pipeline engineering roles.
