Competency descriptor
This competency requires a pipeline engineer to have fundamental understanding of the broad range of construction engineering issues that may arise during pipeline construction.
Competency application
This competency will enable a pipeline engineer to recognise the issues that may arise during pipeline construction and the engineering principles used to manage them. This basic knowledge and understanding can then be taken into account as part of the range of engineering tasks the engineer may have, whether for design, construction or operations.
