Roma to Brisbane Pipeline

The Roma to Brisbane Pipeline (RBP) is a 438km bi-directional transmission pipeline that transports natural gas between the Wallumbilla gas hub (near Roma) and Brisbane – as well regional centres along its route. The associated 121km Peat lateral pipeline is also a transmission pipeline which connects the Peat and Scotia gas fields to the RBP mainline at Arubial.
The RBP is owned and operated by APA group through its wholly owned subsidiary APT Petroleum Pipeline Pty Ltd. It was constructed in 1969.
The RPB is subject to full regulation under the National Gas Rules.
