2026 Convention & Exhibition
The Social Side of Convention
While the plenary sessions and exhibition floor are central to the APGA Convention & Exhibition, the social program provides something equally important: time and space for our industry to connect.
Across four days in Darwin, the Convention social functions created opportunities to meet and greet in relaxed, informal settings away from the normal pressures of meetings, projects and day-to-day work. They gave delegates the chance to reconnect with old friends, put faces to familiar names, meet new acquaintances and have conversations that might otherwise never happen.
For an industry built on long-standing professional relationships, these opportunities matter. A conversation over dinner, on the golf course, aboard a harbour cruise or at the end of a busy Convention day can strengthen an existing relationship, create a new connection or simply provide an opportunity to catch up with someone you have not seen for far too long.
Thank you to everyone who made the effort to join us in Darwin this year. We know attending Convention involves a significant commitment — travelling from across Australia and beyond, taking time away from work and family, and throwing yourself into a very full four-day program.
And, of course, thank you to everyone who embraced the social side of Convention, particularly those who put considerable effort into their Dress the Territory costumes. The enthusiasm, creativity and willingness of delegates to get involved is a big part of what makes the APGA Convention such a memorable industry gathering.
We hope the photographs below provide an opportunity to revisit some of those moments.
Find Your Convention Photos
We have organised the Convention photographs by event to make it easier to find the functions you attended. Use the links above to jump directly to the relevant photo collection and revisit some of the moments from Darwin.
The galleries provide a comprehensive collection of the photographs made available from each event. However, not every photograph taken during Convention has been published publicly.
If you remember having a photograph taken and cannot find it in the relevant gallery, please contact APGA at apga@apga.org.au. Let us know which event you attended and, where possible, provide some information about the photograph you are looking for. We will be happy to check the complete image collection to see whether we can locate it.
Once again, thank you to everyone who travelled to Darwin, participated in the social program, supported our functions and contributed to the atmosphere of the 2026 APGA Convention & Exhibition.
We hope you enjoy looking back through the photos.
