Darling Downs Pipeline
The Eastern Gas Pipeline (EGP) is a transmission pipeline that operates across Victoria and NSW. It is 822km in length (including laterals).
The EGP transports gas between gas fields in Gippsland (Victoria) to major gas markets in NSW and the ACT including: Sydney Short Term Trading Market (STTM); Moomba-Sydney Pipeline at Wilton (for delivery further north); regional centres in Victoria and NSW; ACT; VicHub; and the Tasmanian Gas Pipeline (for delivery into Tasmania).
The EGP is owned and operated by Jemena Eastern Gas Pipeline (1) Pty Ltd and Jemena Eastern Gas Pipeline (2) Pty Ltd.
The EGP is a non-scheme pipeline under Part 23 of the National Gas Rules.
