While the awards recognise our successful recipients, they also provide an opportunity to thank every individual and organisation that put forward a nomination or submission this year.
Not every submission can receive an award, but that does not diminish the work behind them or the value of sharing it with the broader industry. Every entry represents people identifying a challenge, trying something different, improving the way we work and documenting lessons that others can learn from.
That willingness to share is fundamental to what APGA is here to facilitate.
As an association, we become stronger when organisations are prepared to talk openly about what worked, what they learned and what others might be able to apply. Whether it is in safety, environmental management, diversity and inclusion, technical practice, construction or professional development, sharing experience helps the whole industry improve.

The learning also continues beyond Convention.
At the 2026 APGA HSE Seminar in Brisbane on 14 October, delegates will have the opportunity to hear directly from our Safety Award winner, AGIG, and Environment Award winner, AusNet, with fuller presentations on the initiatives recognised through this year’s awards.
