Improving Modular Gas Compression Facility Delivery

Last week, the Northern Territory Young Pipeliners Forum (YPF) was proud to collaborate with Engineers Australia NT to deliver an engaging technical talk on Improving Modular Gas Compression Facility Delivery.

The session, presented by Brian McDonough (Senior Project Engineer, GPA Engineering), explored how modular delivery models are reshaping gas infrastructure projects.

Attendees gained valuable insights into:

  • The evolution of modular compression facilities across major projects
  • Case studies demonstrating streamlined design, construction, and commissioning
  • Efficiency gains, reduced risks, and improved agility achieved through these methods
  • How these approaches can extend beyond gas projects to broader infrastructure and process facilities

The event brought together professionals and young engineers for an evening of knowledge sharing, discussion, and networking - highlighting the importance of collaboration as Australia navigates its transition toward net zero emissions.

A sincere thank you to Engineers Australia NT for hosting and partnering in this initiative, and to GPA Engineering for their generous sponsorship and continued commitment to fostering technical excellence in our industry.
