Young Pipeliners Forum Trivia Night Recap – October 2025
The Young Pipeliners Forum hosted another fantastic Trivia Night on Friday, 3rd October 2025, at Quarterhouse – The Hall, drawing a lively crowd of around 40 attendees. The evening kicked off with an opening address from YPF Chair Nathan Crouch, followed by brief words from our generous sponsors, Duratec and Inductabend, before handing the mic to our charismatic trivia host, Ripley.
From there, the competition was on! Four rounds of general trivia tested everyone’s knowledge — with a few bonus questions on induction bending and coating adding an industry twist. As canapés and drinks flowed, the laughs and friendly rivalries grew stronger. Between rounds, attendees took part in fun mini-games, including the crowd-favourite Duck Derby, which had everyone cheering on their rubber duck racers.
After a thrilling finish, one standout team of four triumphed against larger teams of eight, taking home the $800 first prize — and, quite literally, the crown!
The night wrapped up with relaxed mingling over drinks, giving everyone the chance to connect, unwind, and celebrate another successful YPF social event.
