Ashburton Onslow Gas Pipeline
TABLE OF CONTENTS
The Ashburton to Onslow Gas Pipeline (AOGP) is a transmission pipeline system in NW Western Australia which combines the Tubridgi Pipeline System (TPS) and the Onslow Lateral. The system totals 110km in length.
The TPS runs from the Tubridgi gas processing facility to the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP), while the Onslow Lateral (completed in 2016) connects the DBNGP to the Horizon Power operated Onslow Power Station. Horizon Power is the foundation shipper for the pipeline system.
The AOGP is owned and operated by the DBP Development Group (DGP), a subsidiary of the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG).
The AOGP is a non-scheme pipeline under Part 23 of the National Gas Rules – but has Category 2 and Category 3 exemptions. The AOGP is therefore exempt from information disclosure provisions, and from publishing service usage information, service availability information and financial information. Accordingly, the amount of information on the AOGP provided by APGA’s pipeline information web portal is limited.
