With its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional facilities, and unbeatable setting, guests can look forward to an unforgettable night of fun, flair, and festivity.
Our theme (and accompanying poem) is:
Dress the Territory
In Darwin’s heat, where the day softens slow,
And the harbour holds sunsets the south will never know,
We set aside the rulebook, the tie and the norm,
And dress for the place where the wet meets the warm.
You might arrive as a local, sun-hardened and free,
A fisher, a ranger, a market-day scene.
Or echo the harbour, the mangroves, the storm,
In patterns and palettes that quietly perform.
Be creature or climate, be dry season calm,
Or wet season chaos with thunderous charm.
From sunsets to cyclones, from crocs to the trees,
Let Darwin’s wild rhythm move into your ease.
So come as you are, or as Darwin inspires,
In corporate undone or in sun-soaked attire.
Tonight we celebrate the place we’re standing in—
Dress the Territory. Let the night begin.
